Bit of wind..

Launches being thrown about at the lake by the wind so the squads stayed in the arena and will be again tomorrow. It's a shame not to row but we cannot do anything about it so the attitude should be that it's a good opportunity to work closely together on the physiology and hardness of developing long hard strokes. Many US Colleges can't row between November and March and it does them no harm.
The Seniors did some good hard work, much more evidence of consistent hard work than I've seen before. I then got to do some work with the Novices which was very interesting and promising. The student coaches, Joe, Ian, Jonny and Nichola are clearly doing a very good job of getting the basics right.
