First day of the first weekend.

It's the middle of the first weekend back on the water. So far this week we've done some technical work, now it is time to get a couple of timed 2000m pieces on the board. Great to have so many small boats out and great that there was minimum faff. Having the start pontoon and a second coach makes running the session that much more easy. It is now possible to follow crews and think about the goals of the session rather than be distracted by the need to be in too many places at any one time.
The results are encouraging too, not just some steps on from this period of the season last year but the proximity of boats to one and other means that we are going to have some fun in training working off each other. There are a few characters still to come on board, by the end of the month we should have a healthy competitive environment working away on the lake, in the gym and wherever I might decide training takes us!
