Eight days of intensive water work are done. It's been raining all week until today:
After a week featuring such a high volume of water work it was great to see all squads putting down as much hard work as they could for the final 2k.
I think they were quite pleased to see the landing stage for the last time..
It is now 10 days until the weekend of Cork and Skibberreen Regattas which will be an ideal opportunity to race line-ups prior to the main event on July 19th, 20th and 21st. Following the Cork/Skib' weekend the squads will head up to Enniskillen for a 'finishing' camp with Portora. The step-on from the run-in to Champs last season is significant, last year we had a novice sculler and a novice four. This year we have novices, intermediates and women. Next year...?
