The following has been compiled from the attendance data for the first 3 weeks of the season:Percentage of total sessions missed by group:
Intermediate men: 4.4%
Intermediate women: 10.8%
Novice men (experienced): 26.9%
Novice women (experienced): 25.5%
If this pattern is followed for the rest of the season (up to Champs), each group as a whole will have missed the following portion of the season's training:
Intermediate men: 1.8 weeks
Intermediate women: 4.4 weeks
Novice men (experienced): 11 weeks
Novice women (experienced): 10.5 weeks
As I said at the opening meeting of the season, if you are not at training, you are not improving. There are no events set aside at Champs for people with good excuses.
Please note these statistics do not include those that are new to rowing this term.
