I don't think we'll forget the last three months that easily, but the Azores high is certainly doing a good job at making amends. Today, and for the last week or so we have been out every day getting some quality miles done on flat still water.
We are now a month out from the first regatta of the season and before that, at the end of the month the next round of trials for some. The approach of racing is definitely having a positive impact on the squad with excellent work being done on the ergs, in the weights room and of course, on the water. It does help when the water is like this:
(and yes, that is a pathway being built on the far side of the course. Could make watching races a little more informative..)
