At the Fours Head all overseas crews must race at elite level. This means that the UCCRC 4x is starting 14th out of 496 crews, this is an advantage as theoretically the race is scheduled to give the best water to the early starters, it does however mean that some of the opposition is quite 'tidy':
Being measured against this level of crew is exactly the reason the crew is travelling to the event. A fantastic opportunity to measure ourselves at this point in time and I hope return in future seasons to chart a steady progress for the club. One thing is for certain, UCCRC cannot be accused of staying away from the tough races!
