The office this morning

Absolutely beautiful morning at the lake, important to make the most of it as I suspect we may have some wind tomorrow and it may rain once or twice over the coming months.. As the pictures show the water was glass, providing excellent and fair sculling conditions for the squad. The timed pieces are, after only two weekends developing some good little duels within the squad.
It feels like a bonus to have got two weeks into the routine before the first week of term and Freshers' week strikes. Sticking to the routine while also managing to get properly involved in University will be a challenge but I hope it helps to have routine already established.
The water level in the lake is particularly low at present, lower than it was for Champs. This makes the edge of the lake a dangerous place for boats. The picture below shows the lane cables, which are currently above the water line in lane 7.
