With the start of lectures we can no longer get on the water as a squad mid-week so it is time to take up some volume on the ergometer. The first session back with the flywheel was dealt with efficiently enough. At the weekend the observation was made that to row and make a change it takes significantly more concentration than initially thought. This focus on change before it is no longer a 'change' but the 'default' setting is a critical part of training at this stage in the season. Some simple focus points have been given to each member and it was clear that they were being worked on.
