It's three weeks since the end of Champs, the batteries are recharged despite the best efforts of my nieces and nephews and today I am back in the office for the first time. Next week I will have a small number of athletes on the water for some technical sculling work prior to the main senior training starting on Monday 2nd September.
It is an exciting but slightly nervy time as I am still unsure of who exactly will turn up. This week is dedicated to putting to paper (or more accurately my laptop) all the ideas and plotting that has been going through my head in the last few weeks, I will however not set anything in concrete as there are still too many variables at play for the time being.
Two things I know for certain:
1. At the 2013 Championships UCC won two intermediate pots.
2. It is 49 weeks until the 2014 Rowing Championships.
There can be only one way to go.
