This is a very interesting video, picks up on some technical faults that most club coaches would not want in their crews and demonstrates that simply watching how gold medal winners do it isn't necessarily a good idea.
However (Mike) I can see that if an athlete worried about all the points Xeno picks up on every time they went rowing they would struggle to get away from the landing stage!
