When I came to Cork in July last year I got to look at the lake from one end to the other for the first time. It is one of the reason's I came here. Since that first trip on the lake I have envisaged running 8's side by side. Taking chunks out of each other, stroke for stroke. This afternoon another little step in that massive journey was taken by the novice squad.
