The air temperature is beginning to drop. This means that it is even more important to dress properly for training, this includes what you wear before and after the session. Here are some rules:
- Legs, body and arms covered before training, waterproof if necessary
- Layers during training of wicking material i.e: Not cotton which when wet will make you colder
- Essential that the lower back is covered- technical tops have a lengthened rear to help with this
- Leggings and longsleeve should be worn throughout the session as the air temperature is still low
- After training put layers back on, do not be fooled by your body radiating heat, the air temperature is still low.
- In the cold your body is using energy to stay up to temperature, this uses water, it is therefore as important during the cold as it is in warm weather to keep hydrated.
